Sea Snakes at SS Yongala

These beautiful Olive Sea Snakes are living on the ship wreck of Yongala (Great Barrier Reef, Queensland, AUS). The Olive Sea Snake (Aipysurus laevis) is the most venomous of all the sea snakes. However, they are usually timid toward divers if not provoked. Here, one seems to be hunting together with Coral Trout and Maori Wrasse. Using their paddle-like tail, they have to swim to the surface to breathe air.
